Tuckister.com is a pet project of mine.  I used to use the name as a handle on the old video games I’d play, thinking back now Starcraft and Counter-Strike were my favorite, and it seemed fitting for a personal website. By trade I am an engineering student but at heart I am a wanna-be philosopher and physicist. My writing skills are pretty simplistic, and mainly I write down exactly what comes through my thinking process. Normally I write when I feel inspirational, but sometimes I write just to jog my ideas and solidify my beliefs.

Overall, I hope to someday compile all of my ideas, knowledge, and experiences into a book, but I feel like my brain and thought process are too infant to give a book truly rich and new content. Hopefully someday I’ll have enough of my own ideas to make it worth the time to sit down and write a book, but until then I’ll just do my rants about my latest experiences and thoughts.

As for the site, Wordpress is a breeze to use and a sinch to install, so it seemed appropriate for a site in which I want the content to be rich and the site to be clean. I have very basic website development skills, as you can tell from my original project Science of Cycling, but I feel like I can get the job done adequately enough.
